It all began in the late 80’s when my Swiss ex-husband asked me to plan a two-week holiday while we were living in Zurich.
I chose the forgotten areas of Tuscany. It was on that holiday when we both realized I should be planning trips for a living.
I pursued my teaching instead, facilitating the start-up of two bilingual schools. In the meantime, I continued to travel for 10-12 weeks a year searching for areas untouched by most tourists. It’s getting more difficult to find these places but after living in Europe for more than 20 years and traveling for over 30, I’ve decided to share.
I’m taking small groups to the places I have fallen in love with in Switzerland, Italy, and France.
With my children now grown, I have the time to guide you off-the-beaten-track and to imagine life as a local. Bringing culture, friendships, great food and spirits together to create memorable experiences is what I enjoy most. Having a “good time” is one of the things I do best!
